WWII Living History Association

Welcome to the recruitment page of the WWII Living History Association. WWII reenacting is an expensive but growing hobby.

It will be normal to have an initial investment in the range of $1500-$2500. However, this cost will be spread over a period of several months allowing the candidate time to gather the correct gear. This usually takes 4-12 months to complete. Members have extra gear to loan until the candidate is able to purchase such items. A candidate may choose to purchase a complete package deal from a recommended dealer or take his/her time to search for deals on Ebay, various dealers or antique/flea markets. Each candidate will be assigned to a full member who will assist in identifying correct items, look for items, and to answer any questions the candidate may have through the process.

To join, you must be physically fit, legally able to possess a firearm (we use blanks in real guns) and be at least 18 years old. If you are interested in WWII (history in general) and the reenacting community click the email at the bottom of the page.

Once your email has been received, a member of the unit will contact you shortly to provide more information on becoming a candidate with the unit. We have an application for membership form that will be provided to you, after you contact us by email.
